LikeSetting Sun: The Dawn of the New Commonwealth
A research paper for my British Empire graduate course. I look at the motivations underlying the negotiation of the Colombo Plan in 1950. I tried to put the creation of the CP in the context of the decline of the British Empire, the emergence of an independent India, and the on-set of the Cold War. I intend to write my Major Research Paper on this topic.
